The Department of Energy’s Energy Information Administration has upgraded its estimates of global oil reserves by 11% after scouring 41 countries and finding a lot more “technically recoverable” shale oil and shale gas than it did the last time it filed a similar report, in 2011.Since then, the EIA’s shale gas estimates alone have jumped by 10% and its estimate of gas reserves has soared by 47%. The U.S., China and Argentina are all largely responsible for the upticks in shale oil and gas numbers, while Russia’s shale oil stockpile and Algeria’s shale gas resources also place them among the EIA’s top four potential producers in each category.

I reblog this every time it comes up on my dash. Such a powerful message.
I love how this picture pretty much says that gays will be loving parents, and how if we just let them adopt there will be a sudden wave family friendly house holds that are any better.
They are just as human as the rest of us. They can be just as bad parents as anyone else.
Now I have nothing with a gay couple wanting to adopt a kid. But don’t think that they can’t fuck up or be bad parents either.
I myself am for same-sex couples adopting children but we can’t always compare one and think one’s better. That’s not gonna help the cause. Like said above, same-sex couples are human just like everybody else and there’s some who when they do adopt, don’t treat the kids right either so there’s really no difference.
